We supported Alessandro Borghese in the creation of his first restaurant, AB – Il lusso della semplicità, an iconic project in the heart of Milan’s CityLife district, housed within a building designed by Gio Ponti.

The concept stems from the Chef’s desire to create an authentic and transparent space, centred around a large open kitchen that becomes the beating heart of the restaurant and expresses his philosophy of quality, Italian identity and sharing. An environment designed to celebrate the culinary process and offer guests an experience that engages the eye before delighting the palate.

The project brings together restaurant, bistro, cocktail bar, operational areas and multifunctional spaces within a fluid and efficient layout, where design, functionality and brand identity coexist in perfect balance. Carefully selected materials, bespoke furniture and a considered study of proportions create an elegant, welcoming and highly distinctive atmosphere.

The result is a contemporary, high-performance space that translates Alessandro Borghese’s vision into a concrete, emotional and enduring project.
